TV Stuff
Although I don't really watch as much tv as I would like, there are a few shows I try not to miss. To avoid commercials,
I'll record the shows and watch them when I get a chance. Recently, I've been putting on a series when
I go to bed. It helps me fall asleep and it is nice that (being a series) the story carries over from night
to night. I'm the kind of guy that enjoys Greys Anatomy, Heroes, Frasier, Friends, Scrubs, Son of the Beach as well
as cartoons like Family Guy, Futurama, Southpark, The Fairly Odd Parents, The Critic, King of the Hill....stuff like that.
I've recently been watching Big Bang Theory for its nerdy humor. What ever happened to "Titus"? funny show ;)
Here are some of the shows I like:

Family Guy is one of those shows...it can be witty...it can be immature...but its always funny. Once cancelled, then brought back due to enormous DVD sales and a huge fan following, nothing is safe from Seth MacFarlane as his show makes fun of everything. Some people find it offensive...I say if you don't like it, don't watch it. The characters are great with voices from Seth, Mila Kunis, Alex Borstein, Seth Green, Adam West, and Patrick Warburton. Also, the references, flashbacks and "like that time..." clips are flat out hilarious. Here are Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie, and Brian...along with some more Family Guy characters:

Futurama is one of the best shows ever to be on television, period. The storylines are funny, the characters are memorable, and the humor can silly as well as clever. Shows come and go...shows have their popularity, then fade...but I was actually upset at how a show as clever and funny as Futurama could get cancelled! It is one of the few shows that I'll watch if I land on it while I'm just flipping through channels. If Futurama is on, I'll watch it... it never gets old! I don't know who decided to cancel Futurama, but I hope they realize how big of a mistake they made (much like cancelling Family Guy waaaay too soon only to bring it back once it's reruns were getting more viewers than most current shows...thanks Adult Swim!). Futurama is more entertaining to me than the Simpsons (same creator) and with the huge cash-cow that is "The Simpsons", you'd think Matt Groening could say "no more Futurama, then no more Simpsons". *Though its ratings were well below The Simpsons, the first season of Futurama rated higher than competing animated series: King of the Hill, Family Guy, and South Park. *wikipedia* and we see how Family Guy, Southpark, and King of the Hill turned out...bring back Futurama!

I never watched "Friends" during its 10 year run. I started watching the dvds thanks to my neighbors and couldnt get enough. Watched the entire series a few times. Like my other favorites, it never gets old. The characters and the way they deliver the comedy is timeless.

I figured I'd borrow the first season of Grey's Anatomy from a friend and see what the big deal was. It turned out to be an entertaining drama. New situations and always changing character plots keep it interesting.

Much like Grey's Anatomy, I figured I'd watch a few episodes of the first season of Heroes to see what all they hype was about. It is nice to escape to a world where people can have comic book like superpowers. I find myself wondering how they will twist the plot to keep the show moving.

What can I say about "My Name is Earl"? hahaha His neverending list of "things to make up for" constantly puts him into hilarious situations. The characters are some of the best on any show. Joy and Darnell (Crabman) are my favorite...sooooo "trailer park".

Few shows come along like "Frasier". The intelligence of the humor is a great change of pace from the usual dumbed-down show.

Big Bang Theory is about a group of high IQ nerds and the "hot" girl across the hall. The geek-talk and nerdy references make it a one of a kind sitcom.

I have to be in the mood for 2 and a Half Men. I love the cut downs, wisecracks, and one liners.

Dr. House is a smartass...thats why I like this show. He doesnt sugar-coat anything, tells it like it is and has fun doing it.
Others I like

If you haven't heard of South Park, you've been living under a rock. I love SouthPark and all the controversial, offensive humor *LOL*.

Scrubs is just plain fun. It has it dumb moments as well as really funny ones. I love all the daydreaming/flashbacks and retro humor.

King of the Hill is a pretty funny show worth mentioning. Its a more "calm" kind of funny show.

The Critic, much like Family Guy, was waaaay ahead of its time and cancelled too soon. It had an unlimited source of jokes in all the new movies that came out. The characters were well developed and HILARIOUS!

Coupling is like the British version of Friends with more sexual type humor. Very funny show.

Titus was hilarious "dysfunctional" family comedy.

Son of the Beach was a comedy in the style of "Naked Gun" and "Airplane". I found my self laughing so hard almost the entirety of the episode.

I love the Fairly Odd Parents. Much of the humer is aimed more at adults rather than kids...one of my favorites!
